The Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus revealed OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15 with OnePlus 13 in China. OxygenOS 15 is unveiled to update OnePlus 12 and 12R in India and Globally. Many options are provided for the Always-On Display and the Lock and Home screen. For Always-On Display, classic modes and flux are available. At the Lock screen level, clock blending of color is supported, as are the Windows desktop glass textures, blur, AI depth, auto-fill facility, and others.
New patterns for the home screen, backgrounds of various blur intensities, and other items are possible. Flux themes add various transition animations between the Always-On Display, Lock screen, and Home screen for a more cohesive look and feel.
Design and Animation
The update makes it possible for the applications to switch between each other more smoothly through parallel processing. Other changes are changes in icons, transitions, the overall appearance of the UI quick settings, and the notifications bar. OnePlus also said that OxygenOS 15 will take just 20% of the system storage on the future OnePlus 13.
New Floating Window
Using the notification banners, swipe down to open a desired application in a floating window, then swipe down again to expand it. Swipe up the screen to minimize the window, and swipe right or left to dismiss it.
Split View windows can be resized by either dragging the bar dividing the screen or, alternatively, by tapping the bar to acquire a full-screen window.
The new Split mode lets the user have quick settings (swipe from the right edge) and a notification drawer (swipe from the top edge), with swipe right or left. There have been changes made in the Quick Settings, implementing a fresh and more attractive UI design and improved and polished animation.

What’s New Gets updates: Private Safe is now categorized as images, videos, or documents, which will make it easier to search for data. New is a home screen shortcut for the hidden applications, allowing users easy access by tapping the folder and entering the privacy PIN.

The multi-network experience enhances inter-network transition mechanisms to integration efficiency, integration accuracy, and transition errors. Holo Audio is optimized for online calls and meetings and provides a richer and more complete audio experience.
Other
Other features incorporated are the Easter egg, which is found in the Calculator app and triggers when users type 1+=, and it is a reminder of the brand’s advertising slogan, “Never Settle.”
Moreover, Notes widgets become more advanced and convenient with per-widget settings; there’s a new Home screen clock widget; the Quick switch gestures work to easily switch between two recent tasks, with the system redirecting the user to the last used application in the recent tasks menu.
