Galaxy S23 and S24 get March 2025 update in Canada

Samsung has started rolling out a new software update to its Galaxy S23 series and S24 series units in Canada. The Korean tech giant already rolled out this update in Korea and the the US.

Galaxy S23 units running on One UI 6.1 are getting this update with build versions S911WVLS6CYB3, S916WVLS6CYB3, and S918WVLS6CYB3 for S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra, respectively. On the other hand, One UI 6.1-based Galaxy S24 units are getting this update with firmware versions S921WVLS4AYB3, S926WVLS4AYB3, and S928WVLS4AYB3 for S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra, respectively.
This brand-new OTA firmware download size is around 426 MB. The March 2025 update comes with over 58 patches to address security issues in Galaxy devices. The update also improves the system stability of these smartphones, but it does not carry new functionalities.

Moreover, the highly awaited One UI 7 is also available for these flagships in the form of a beta program, and it is limited to only a few countries.
