Upcoming Galaxy A series device spotted with Android 15, but One UI 7 beta is still under development
Samsung currency is busy with the development of the update software update, the One UI 7 as well as the next flagship series, the Galaxy S25. Meanwhile, the company is gearing up to launch its latest edition of the popular series device. Recently Galaxy A36 surfaced on Geekbench with Android 15, but Samsung users still waiting for the One UI 7 beta program.

However, Samsung usually known for timely software updates, is yet to make the One UI 7 based on Android 15 beta available for its Galaxy devices. Now, the Korean tech giant is already working on the Galaxy A36 with Android 15 preinstalled, which will be the successor to the Galaxy A35, which launched back in March. The phone should launch next year after the Galaxy S25 series.
Galaxy S25 series will come with Android 15 based on the One UI 7 out of the box, which was revealed by the company at SDC24. So, the Galaxy S25 series smartphones will be the first device to run Android 15 preinstalled.
As per the Geekbench listing the Galaxy A36 comes out of the box. This means the phone might run on One UI 7, which will be out next year with lots of Galaxy AI features alongside the Galaxy S25 series.
Moreover, the phone received a single-core score of 1060 and a multi-core score of 3070. Plus, the CPU information and Adreno 710 GPU reveal that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipsets.
Recently, Samsung officially launched the Galaxy A16 with six major Android updates. This means the Galaxy A36 is also eligible for the same promise, and if it has Android 15 out of the box, it will end its life on Android 21.
