Nothing OS 3.0 Update is Ready To Roll Out Know The Timeline, Eligible Devices, and Its Upgraded Features
Nothing has officially introduced the Nothing OS 3.0 software update, which is based on Android 15. This major update focuses on optimizing modifications to enhance the Android experience while increasing noticeable features, such as its own gallery, widgets, and system application. Nothing; OS 3.0 will be released in two phases for users.
Release Timeline
- October 2024: Nothing, OS 3.0 Open Beta
- November 2024: Nothing OS 3.0 Stable Update
Initially, the Nothing OS 3.0 update will roll out to the Nothing Phone 2a and Nothing Phone 2a Plus devices. After that, it will be rolled out to Nothing Phone 2 and Nothing Phone 1 devices. And later it will go to CMF Phone 1.

Yuri! Nothing about OS 3.0 Update’s Significant Features
Yuri, Nothing’s new software product design leads to a bolder new design feature enhancing typography, smoother dot matrix animations, and customizable lock screens. Also, Quick Setting will be more intuitive and user-friendly, accompanied by an AI-powered smart drawer that intelligently operates apps.
A countdown widget has been introduced to enhance, improve photos, design, and approve the customizable image segmentation capabilities, leveraging AI to upscale images and help with object enlargement within photos. The new Nothing Gallery App boasts faster load times (1.4 sec quicker than Google Photos) and AI-driven image segmentation for better photo management.
Apart from this, the Nothing OS 3.0 update brings many new improvements and features, like new animation, app pinning and categorization, new widgets, and widget sharing. It is also expected that it will join some other features that will increase the security system while using the private space feature to keep the privacy of users.
Android 15 Update
Android 15 will come soon for the beta users, and this time, Google decided to roll out the Android 15 update with Vivo and iQOO devices. From this month after it is rolled out, Android 15 will be rolled out to the Pixel devices. It will be the first for the Vivo X100 series, Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, and the iQOO 12. Apart from this, Samsung’s One UI 7 will also come by the end of this year to the developer.
