Leak Suggest Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim Could Get the ALoP Technology to Compact Camera Module
Samsung’s upcoming event to launch the Galaxy S25 series is near, and the features and specifications have started to surface. Recently, a tipster, jukanlosreve, posted on X that the Galaxy S25 Slim will use the ALoP (All Lenses on Prism) technology for the telephoto camera to set a slimmer look on the Galaxy S25 Slim with redeeming high image quality.
Galaxy S25 Slim to Use an ALoP Technology
The Galaxy S25 Slim features an ALoP technology camera module that allows for a reduction in the thickness of the camera bump. This technology was developed last month by Samsung Semiconductor. ALoP architecture is a new technology that helps make the telephoto camera module smaller to use in the slimmest device camera place. The length of the telephoto camera module can be reduced by up to 22% compared to conventional folded camera optics.
In ALoP, the telephoto lens is placed in a flat position in the plane of the phone, which makes the camera bump smaller and less pronounced. It uses a 40-degree-titled prism reflection surface and a 10-degree-titled sensor assembly, which provides a brighter and more compact telephoto camera module. It also reduces the noise in photos.
The design of the Galaxy S25 Slim is said to be thinner than 7 mm and will feature a triple rear camera unit. This camera unit will come with a 200MP ISCCELL HP sensor, a 50MP ISCOCELL JN sensor (with an ultrawide lens), and a 3.5x optical zoom telephoto lens. The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ will not have this telephoto camera. They’re all new solutions that improve the camera and design of the smartphone to deliver better functionality in less space.
Samsung will soon unveil the Galaxy S25 series, with the Galaxy S25 Slim being one of the new devices in the series. The Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra will follow the previously launched S24 series.
