Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra getting new updates in October

Galaxy Watch 7 and ultra

Samsung has started rolling out an improvement update for the recently launched Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra. Canadian users of these watches can enjoy the latest update that improves watch system stability. However, the update should be rolled out in other regions soon.

The latest update for the Galaxy Watch 7 LTE comes with the new build version L3*5FXXU1AXIA. On the other hand, Galaxy Watch Ultra users can identify it with build version L705FXXU1AXIA. The update for the Galaxy Watch 7 Bluetooth models has not yet been released.

It is notable that the update does not bring a new security patch for both devices. According to the changelog, the stability of both devices has been improved. The company does not mention it in the changelog, but it could include fixes for previous issues and bugs.

Both watches were launched together in July 2024. They also launch with the same Exynos W1000 chipset. On the software side, both come with One UI Watch 6 based on Wear OS 5.

Moreover, older Galaxy watches like the Galaxy Watch 6, Watch 5, and Watch 4 are still waiting for the One UI Watch 6 based on Wear OS 5 stable update.
