Android 15 Beta Update rolls out to Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, How to join the Android 15 Beta Program?
Software updates have always been a downside with Motorola, and it seems that the company has had a different approach to Android 15. Motorola has now rolled out the Android 15 Beta update for the Edge 50 Fusion model. This approach change may help increase the frequency of user software updates at Motorola.
Motorola Edge 50 Fusion Android 15 beta has arrived with build version V1UUI35H.6, and it’s approximately 1.89 GB in size. Too bad the screenshot showing the update shares doesn’t contain the changelog. That means we have yet to receive more information on the new features provided in the Android 15 beta.
How to join the Android 15 Beta Program?
To join the Android 15 beta program on your Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, follow these steps:
Make sure that your device meets the requirements of joining the Android 15 beta program. Not each of them might be involved; that is, not all devices might be taken into consideration. Whenever you decide to sign up for a beta program, please make sure to back up all the necessary files in case you lose them.
- Start the Chrome browser on your device.
- Please visit the website for the Android Beta Program.
- Scroll down to find the part that concerns beta enrollment, then choose the option for Motorola devices.
- Go to the Google screen, then enter the web store, click on your profile photo at the bottom right, and create a new device by following the instructions.
- Once you have completed the registration process, you should be receiving the over-the-air (OTA) update alert.
- Check updates by heading to Settings > System > System updates.
Unfortunately, for any issues that you encounter, you must give feedback through the normal channels via the settings or within the beta program once you are a user of the beta.
It should be mid-October, and till now only Vivo has managed to roll out a stable Android 15 update. Google already announced its intent to release stable Android 15 by or before October this year, although Samsung has pushed Android 15-based One UI 7 for Galaxy until 2025.
As new versions of Android are released, this means Motorola wants to improve the experience of its devices across the board—its high-end Edge phones, mid-range G-series phones, and its unique Motorola Razr foldable range. Perhaps the next few months will define a further update to Motorola’s devices and its goal to stay ahead in the Android market.
