Nothing will release the stable update of Nothing OS 3.0 for Phone (2a) and Phone (2) at the same time. Plus, at the beginning of the month, the company released the Nothing OS 3.0 based on the Android 15 open beta 1 update for Nothing Phone (2a). Recently, the company confirmed that the Nothing OS 3.0 Open Beta 2 will be launching in November 2024.

Nothing community moderator confirmed that we have almost completed the first round of the Open Beta program for Phone (2a). After receiving feedback, the company confirmed that we will release the Nothing OS 3.0 Open Beta 2 for Phone (2a) in November 2024.
Requriment of Nothing OS 3.0 Open Beta 2 for Phone (2a)
- If you’ve already upgraded to Open Beta Testing 1, you’ll receive an upgrade notification for Open Beta Testing 2 when it launches in November.
- Only OBT1 users will be eligible for Nothing OS 3.0 Open Beta 2
- You cannot upgrade directly for Nothing OS 3.0 Open Beta 2
- If you want to participate in OBT2, we recommend that you upgrade to OBT1 by the end of October.
Nothing OS 3.0 Open beta for Phone (2)
Moreover, the tech giant will also release the Nothing OS 3.0 Open beta for Phone (2) with lots of new features and improvements. Similar to the Open beta for Phone (2a) it would bring improvements in the Lock screen, Quick settings, Smart Drawer, Camra, pop-up view, and other enhancements.
