Nothing OS 3 schedule: When your Nothing or CMF Phones get the Nothing OS 3?
Fans were expecting the Nothing OS 3 beta for the Nothing Phone 2. But the company has surprisingly announced Nothing OS 3 public beta for the Phone 2a first. However, Nothing also explained why they announced this program for the Phone 2a first. The Nothing Phone 2a is the newest and best-selling smartphone, so the company will get the best feedback.
After the Phone 2, other Nothing and CMF smartphone users are also excited for the upcoming major update. And wanted to know when the update will be available for their Nothing Phone. In an official post, Nothing also reveals the Nothing OS 3 schedule for the Nothing Phone 2, Phone 1, Phone 2a Plus, and CMF Phone 1.
For the Nothing Phone 2, the Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.0 will be available in November. On the other hand, Nothing Phone 1, Phone 2a Plus, and CMF Phone 1 will get it in December 2024. The next Nothing Phone 3 is also expected to come with Nothing OS 3 out of the box.
Moreover, the Nothing OS 3.0 is based on Android 15, which is expected to come with new and significantly improved features. The upgrade will also add some AI features to the Gallery app to improve photo quality.
Lastly, the Nothing OS 3 schedule does not show actual dates, but it will be available sooner in the scheduled month.
