OnePlus 11 and 11R October update brings new fixes

OnePlus releases an incremental update for the OnePlus 11 and OnePlus 11R. The update brings a new security patch with a few critical fixes. Both device’s overall security is getting improved with the October 2024 Android security patch.

Notably, the update is currently rolling out for Indian units of the OnePlus 11 and 11R. The Chinese smartphone maker is pushing the new update for OnePlus 11 with the software version CPH2447_14.0.0.833(EX01). And OnePlus 11R users can identify it with a variant number CPH2487_14.0.0.808(EX01).

Apart from offering the October patch for OnePlus 11, the update adds a module to Trinity Engine to optimize apps, speeding up app launches and reducing power consumption.

However, the company has started releasing Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 Beta programs for its OnePlus 12, 12r, Nord CE 4, and Nord CE 4 Lite. OnePlus 11 and 11R devices are also expected to get the OxygenOS 15 upgrades soon.
