Realme 11 and Realme 9i 5G receive October 2024 update
Realme has rolled out the October 2024 update for over 10 Realme devices so far. Recently, the company announced the October security patch for the Realme 10 Pro+. And now the update has also started pushing to the Realme 11 5G and Realme 9i 5G.
The October 2024 Android security patches fix over 40 security issues. To protect their devices from security flaws, users should install the latest security patches. To check the latest security updates for Realme devices, navigate to Settings>> About device >> Software version banner.
For the Realme 11, the update is rolling out with firmware version RMX3780_14.0.0.115(EX01). Realme 11 users will have to download approximately 622.02 MB for the update. Meanwhile, Realme 9i 5G users can check the update with firmware version RMX3612_14.0.0.1000(EX01). The download package size of this software update is 600.57 MB.

According to the changelog, the update improves system stability and optimizes system performance in some scenarios. However, it does not come with new features for both devices.
Realme 11 5G and 9i 5G were released in 2023 and 2022, respectively, and are currently running on Realme UI 5 based on Android 14. Realme 11 5G is eligible for the Realme UI 6.0 based on the Android 15 upgrade.
