Realme 14x receives its first software update a day after launch
Realme 14x has just been announced in the Indian market, and the first sale started on 18 December and will continue until 22 December. The company has released the first software update for Realme 14x after a day of release. The update includes a bunch of fixes, improvements, and optimizations.
Realme 14x software update details
The incremental update can be identified with software number RMX3940_14.1.0.510(EX01). It is currently rolling out in Indian markets, which is reported by an official community post. To check for the update, go to the Settings menu, now tap on About Device, and here click on the realme UI version banner; now the system will automatically check for the update.
According to the changelog, the update brings fixes for the fingerprint unlocking issue and some other known issues. It includes gyroscope effect optimization for improved gaming experiences. Further, optimizing front camera retouch effects and camera quality of third-party apps.

Realme 14x is the first device under 15k in the Indian market that comes with an IP69 rating. The waterproof rating of the device is better than that of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max. The device comes with a 6.67-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Realme 14x is equipped with a Dimensity 6300 processor and comes in two configurations, including 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB.
Software update support
The Realme 14x shipped with Android 14-based Realme UI 5 out of the box. However, It is eligible for two Android upgrades, and it will receive the latest Realme UI 6 upgrade next year. The device should get the security update support for around 3 years.
