Nowadays, Samsung is running very busy due to handling a lot of different software developments for the Galaxy devices. The One UI 7 is one of the priorities which is currently running under development. However, the Korean giant is still carefully bringing new monthly software update on time. Following this the October 2024 patch is already reached a lot of devices, let’s explore it.

October 2024 update: What’s new?

The October 2024 update for the Galaxy devices doesn’t bring any visual changes but at the same time it has brought some internal enhancements in the form of new patches which will improve the overall security of the devices.

According to the official documentation, the October 2024 patch has brought nearly four dozen of fixes for fixing different vulnerabilities.

More specifically, there are 33 patches included by Google, where two are marked as critical and 28 are marked as high priority. Meanwhile, three other patches are not applicable to Galaxy devices. It is worth noticing that Google has fixed the vulnerabilities related to the Android OS.

Along with this, Samsung has also added 12 more patches which will improve the security of the Galaxy devices; however, the company hasn’t mentioned all the fixes clearly. But some of them includes Samsung Internet, Sound Assistant and Samsung video Player.
