Galaxy S24 series starts receiving October update in the US, Europe
Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphone users are receiving the latest October 2024 security update in Europe. These devices already received the update in the US the brand is making it available for all countries soon. The fresh update enhances security and stability for a better user experience.
October 2024 update for Galaxy S24 Series smartphone in Europe can be identified via the following version numbers:

October 2024 security update has begun rolling out for the Galaxy S24 series devices. As of now, the Galaxy S24 FE is the only Galaxy device to receive the October security patch. And now the update is expanding to the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra devices too.
However, the update is currently rolling out in the US. And the network-locked units are getting the update first. Unlocked unit users have to wait a bit more to get the October patch. This is a monthly update that includes fixes for over 40 issues, including critical to high-level vulnerabilities.
Galaxy S24 base model owners can identify the update with the software version S921USQS3AXI1. On the other hand, Galaxy S24 Plus users can recognize it with the software version S926USQS3AXI1. Meanwhile, for the Ultra model, it comes with version S928USQS3AXI1.
Pointedly, the October update for the Galaxy S24 series is spotted on the ATT carrier-locked model. The update comes in a download package size of 442.22 MB. Despite security patches, it also improves the system’s stability and functionality of the device.
This month, the Korean tech giant released the monthly security update on time for the Galaxy S24. However, users were waiting for the One UI 7 Beta, which is expected late this year. At SDC 2024, Samsung reveals that the One UI 7 beta will be available for the developers, but according to a recent report, the public beta will also be released.
