Samsung will Power to Galaxy S25 with Snapdragon 8 Elite Soc
Qualcomm has released what it claims to be the best and most improved mobile platform yet, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite. There are many companies that committed to using the Snapdragon 8 Elite, along with Asus, Xiaomi, Honor, Oppo, and OnePlus, and many other.
This chipset will drive the further evolution of Android devices and may become used in the Samsung Galaxy S25 and other models. Samsung’s mobile president TM-Roh said at the event, that upcoming flagship devices could be equipped with Qualcomm’s new AI-Moderator Snapdragon 8 elite Soc.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite is set to offer a new league of performance to next-generation Android smartphones. Presumably, it will be used to drive the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and nearly every leading Android smartphone in 2025, based on what Qualcomm describes as a “generative AI powerhouse.” The OS version has an 8-core Oryon CPU for more on-device AI and an Adreno 830 GPU for up to 40% improvement in gaming.
Snapdragon 8 Elite has the fastest performance
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite features an Oryon CPU configuration containing eight cores, with two large cores running at 4.32 GHz and six small ones at 3.53 GHz. They’ll have a 45% single-core plus 45% multi-core on the 8 Gen 3 chip. The work with the Web will be 62 percent faster. Qualcomm is sticking with DDR5 RAM, upgrading it to a 5.3GHz dual-channel LPDDR5X RAM.
Qualcomm notes that it will see an R400% gain in total execution resources, which will result in an R350% gain in ray tracing of new sliced architecture. Samsung President TM Roh hasn’t confirmed the set of Galaxy devices that will get the chipset; however, we can see a lot of Galaxy devices equipped with the chipset.
