Beginning of the month, Nothing started rolling out the October 2024 security patch for its devices. In this recent development, the CMF Phone 1 October 2024 security update is now rolling out for users worldwide. This update comes with a slew of bug fics and improvements to improve the overall experience of using the device.

Back in July 2024, the CMF Phone 1 was launched with the Nothing OS 2.6, and the phone is eligible for Android 15 based on the Nothing OS 3.0 later this year.

CMF Phone 1 October 2024 update: What’s new

As November starts, the CMF Phone 1 is receiving the October security patch with Nothing OS U2.6-241021-2030, which also includes several key improvements.

This new update fixes light leakage issues to enhance photo quality on the front camera. It also fixes some bugs that affected the notifications, Status bar, Bluetooth, and more features.

In addition, it improved the reliability of face and fingerprint unlocking as well as enhance overall system stability and security.

Moreover, this update fixes some bugs to enhance the overall stability of the device.

CMF Phone 1 has been launched in India and is priced under Rs 20,000. This is the first CMF smartphone from Nothing and the company has adopted the same strategy for its Nothing phones, offering a unique design with good specifications on paper.
