Samsung may not expand the One UI 7 beta program to older devices

Galaxy S22

Samsung has introduced the One UI 7 beta updates for the Galaxy S24 series devices, and it is expected to bring more beta updates for the devices in the coming days. Apart from the Galaxy S24 devices, there are no signs of a beta update for older devices, including Galaxy S23 and S22 series devices.

According to some reports, Samsung could not release the One UI 7 beta update for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, and Galaxy S21 series and A series devices. This is all happening due to the early launch of the Galaxy S25 and the late launch of the beta program.

Meanwhile, the leaker report further claims that One UI 7 beta 3 could be rolled out for the next week between December 30 and January 6.

Direct One UI 7 stable update will be available for the devices

If the report is accurate, then there will be no testing software available for the devices, and it will directly bring the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S22 series devices.

But this doesn’t mean that these devices will receive the update early, because Samsung will be too busy in January and will primarily focus on the introduction of Galaxy S25 series devices via the Galaxy Unpacked event.

In this event, we may also get more devices, such as the Samsung XR, and it may also unveil the official roadmap of One UI 7 for the Galaxy devices. It is expected that the stable rollout should be start from February at atleast for some Galaxy devices, including Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 devices
