These Galaxy devices got last update for this year
Samsung is busy in the development of the One UI 7; however, at the same time, the company has also introduced a new security patch for its eligible devices. The Korean giant has rolled out (last patch for the year) the December 2024 security patch for multiple devices, but before exploring the list of devices, let’s know what’s new coming with the update.
December 2024 security patch: What’s new
The December 2024 update doesn’t bring any specific important changes for the devices, but it will provide several internal changes for the devices that will improve the overall security of the devices.
According to the official documentation, there are more than 40 patches introduced in this update, where Google has included 6 critical and 28 high-level ones.
Meanwhile, Samsung has introduced 8 patches to fix the issues related to the Galaxy devices. Along with these, the company also addresses issues found in different existing applications, including Theme Center, Galaxy Watch, Bluetooth, SmartSwitch, and Dex Mode.
For more strengthening the security, Google and Samsung both introduce more patches that dedicate to addressing the issues found in the semiconductor patch.
