Google has started rolling out the Android 15 QPR1 Beta 3 update for the Pixel phone, which is a bug-fixing update and does not bring any new features. The latest QPR1 Beta update is available on all devices including Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 8a, Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel Fold, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, and Pixel Tablet devices. Pixel users can identify the latest update through version AP41.240925.009.

Android 15 QPR1 Beta 3 update addresses a list of around 10 bug fixes, including issues with Notification and Bluetooth connectivity, System memory paging, app icons displaying, System UI, Volume buttons, Settings app, and more. The update also includes fixing for foldable devices where the screen sometimes went blank when unfolding the device.

  • Fixed various other issues that were impacting system stability, connectivity, and interactivity.
  • Fix a crash in BluetoothDevice.getType() that occurred primarily in the testing environment when Bluetooth resources were reused between virtual device instances.
  • Improved LE Audio volume control by enabling independent adjustment of each connected sink’s volume using the UI and limiting volume key adjustments to the primary sink.

How to install:

Android 15 QPR1 Beta 3 is being rolled out gradually, so it may take up to 24 hours for the OTA update to arrive on your device. You can check for the Beya update by going to Settings > System > System updates.
